World Journal of Peri & Neonatology (WJPN)

WJPN is a semiannual peer-reviewed and open-access journal founded by Mother and Newborn Health Care Center, Yazd, Iran that publishes clinical research articles, review or update articles, case reports, commentaries, editorials and letters to the Editor in the broad fields of periconceptional, perinatal, and postpartum periods; and of fetuses and newborn infants during and beyond their initial hospital stay. No area in the neonatal related sciences is excluded from consideration, although priority is given to studies that provide applied insights into the fetus and newborn infants. The journal welcomes publishes medical experiences and clinical investigations on prevalent diseases in the newborn as well as analyses of factors that may modulate the pertinent neonatal and fetus problems. The WJPN audience includes specialist in medical students, obstetrics, neonatology, perinatology, maternal/ fetus medicine, and neonatal and perinatal nurses. Manuscripts submitted to WJPN should describe novel results generated by experiments that were guided by clearly defined aims or hypotheses. WJPN aims to provide accessibility to a broad readership inside Iran and the region and also in all other international academic sites, effective peer review process, and independence from all possible non-scientific interests. Hence, the journal encourages submission of editorials, review papers, commentaries, methodological notes and perspectives that address this scope.
